Aldijana (39)

She is the co-owner and chef of the café ‘Lekker op Zuid’. Like Amna, she came to the Netherlands quite young, around the age of 13. For her, her home is in Sarajevo. She loves her family house in which some of her family members still live. Aldijana remarked that while she is in the house with them, there is no need to go anywhere else because she needs is there. Her elderly family members still call her ‘little girl’ and ‘sweetheart’, even though she is a grown woman with her own children now. It seems that time is frozen there, and she is still the same little girl.
